When a story starts out with someone driving in a snow storm, you know something bad will happen. Hailey McMaster is getting away from being sold to the highest bidder by her grandfather, a wolf shifter. Using a unique power she manages to escape and is headed for home, but disaster strikes during the storm. She is rescued by one of the bidders and is being chased by another.This was a good story, just too short, but as always the author provides you with all the information you need to know to enjoy the story, but not enough to make it very memorable.
I will say, if Ms. Grace ever writes a full length novel is should be a great read. The only reason I purchased it was because it was priced lower than her usual short stories at $1.59.

I'm sorry - this book was horrible. First, it's a short story. I have nothing against short stories but I wish that I had known that before purchasing it. What's even worse is that the story is poorly written, uninteresting, and reads like it was written for a college short-story class. I'm sorry, but if I could return it, I would.
This book was so much fun to read. It had action and romance those are my favorites. Viola Grace is one of my favorite authors
It's ok. It is a very short read. The story line was quick and to the point with a little bit of sex.
This story is ridiculously short. The characters are well enough developed, given the length, but there wasn't enough room for this story to really go anywhere.
A wolf with fire power was a great idea but it was a short story. I was curious about the pale bird man too and instead we got a surprise vampire.
I gave this short story four stars because it was too short. I loved both characters and would have liked it better if was a little bit longer. Hopefully the author will re-write this story and lengthen this short story into a novel, maybe even a series
Disappointed that it was so short that the story was only focused on one event in what could have been a very good book. Putting together a fire elementel/wolf persona interesting but would loved more story development information. Not to sure as to what type of being she fought. Left to many questions unanswered.
